South West Water asked Dartmoor Pond Services to design and construct a suitable water feature for the site

Following the construction of their state of the art water treatment plant at Roborough, SW Water asked Dartmoor Pond Services to design and construct a suitable water feature for the site.

The former treatment plant at Crownhill is on the site of the old reservoir built in the 1920’s. A redundant 6m outlet from the reservoir had been converted to a koi pond.

We proposed replicating the outlet using the original granite capping stones. We included other granite from the site to construct the stepped water fall and filter chamber.
In June 2021 we completed the project tying the old school treatment plant with the ultra modern facility now operating at Roborough.
